Saturday, April 19th, we were lucky enough to take a trip back in time to the late 60s with our friends the Clarks and the Dittos. We attended a sold out performance of the Smothers Brothers. They were very very funny and brought back memories of sitting in front of the television waiting to see what antics would get censored that particular week. They often spoke out against the Viet Nam war and made references to pot smoking, so they were constantly censored. Finally, the network pulled the plug on the show and that was that. The things they were censored for now seem so trivial in our modern "anything goes" society. They are still superb musicians, comedians and story tellers, but the one thing I don't understand is how they got so old and we didn't! LOL

CHROME IN THE DOME
Yesterday we attended Chrome in the Dome, the annual car and motorcycle show, with our good friends, Mike and Cookie Ditto. This is a picture of me in front of a sweet '57 Chevy similar to one Mike used to drive back in the "good ol' days".
The POW/MIA motorcycle club was asked to post the colors for this event. Pictured above are good friends Bob Clark and Will & Sandy Long.

A Night of Culture
Saturday, April 12th, we attended a performance of My Fair Lady with our friends, Mike & Cookie Ditto and Bob & Mona Clark at Mystique Theater. The performance was excellent and, as usual, we had great fun with our friends!
